While the road to sustainability in general isn’t easy in fashion industry and truly sustainable and ethical fashion goes not only from examining raw materials, rather all practices have to be implemented all the way down the supply chain.
Our no. 1 policy is zero waste at Mercurial The Label! Our garments are consciously chosen to be of such a high quality to last many years. The designs we chose is timeless classics which will not go out of style the next season and be thrown away.
To avoid waste and act responsibly we have decided to only offer our products on demand or in limited drops. We are only producing what you are ordering. That’s why we ask you to have that little extra patience with delivery times and participate in an ecology friendly undertaking.
Rohmaterialien/Herstellung
For our Athleisure items ( shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, bottoms and bags) we are using only sustainable fabrics like organic cotton and recycled polyester. The garments are sourced and produced in Bangladesh. The workers are paid a living wage and are working in a faire working environment.
Our swimwear is made from recycled polyester and elastane. Recycled polyester is made from plastic bottles and we are happy that at least those do not end up in landfills or the ocean!
Our phone cases are made from 100% natural components and are fully degradable!
The headbands are made from fabric leftovers which beautifully avoid waste.
The only items we are offering which are not produced from sustainable materials are our socks and caps. Here we haven’t managed to source a sustainable alternative. But we keep on course till we find it!

We are working only with responsible manufacturers and partners in our supply chain who share our values. Those who are responsible towards the people who work for them and our planet.
They treat their workers faire and pay them a living wage, and they are aiming or have already implemented sustainable production/shipping solutions. Also those manufacturers are giving back to the community and to our planet.
